/ Take me with you
As part of the events to commemorate its 160th anniversary, Loewe made the exhibition “Take Me with You” (“take me with you”), bringing together the works of about twenty European and Asian novel creators around the idea of “women and the bags. " The Spanish leather goods brand gave them carte blanche to interpret the interesting and complex relationships that exist between a person and that inseparable object that is the purse, guardian of their most intimate possessions. The result was 20 exclusive pieces in various formats: photography, painting, sculpture, video etc.
Among the artists who participated in the exhibition are Naia del Castillo, Carmen García Bartolomé, Elizabeth Aro, Concha García or Nuria Marqués (Spain), David Burrows and Graham Dolphin (United Kingdom), Ruriko Murayama, Minako Nishiyama and Hanayo (Japan) , Qin Yufen, Wilson Shieh and Wing Shya (China), Terence Lin (Singapore), Ha Sang Rim (Korea) and Olga Isabella (Greece).
Amélie Aranguren, from the Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum, was the curator of the exhibition.
The exhibition was exhibited at Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo.
